There definitely oughta be a 'Places' board. Just a board where anyone who owns a buildings/store/shop of some kind whether it be in-game or on the site can post information about that place.
It'd be a real neat feature and give the rp a sense of realism.

I like the idea, and will make talk with the other admin on it. We've done similar things but never made it "official" in our RPs before. Also, if there was a karma system. I'd -1 you for linking to another RP.
-Edit: Of course, I haven't made the karma system yet. So you're off the hook for it.
